George T. Stagg 2024 is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, and the 2024 release in the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.
It is bottled uncut and unfiltered at barrel proof, 136.1 proof or 68.05% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. Each annual Stagg is a different barrel selection, so the 2024 is its own bottling rather than a repeat of earlier years.
The colour is a very deep amber. Dark chocolate, caramel, brown sugar and bold rye spice show on the nose. The palate is powerful, with chocolate, caramel and rye spice, and the finish runs long with dried cherry, cloves and smoke.
