George T. Stagg 2019 is a Kentucky bourbon from Buffalo Trace in Frankfort, released as part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. It was aged for a minimum of 15 years in new charred oak and bottled straight from the barrel at 64.1% ABV, without dilution or chill filtration, in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is toffee, dark chocolate, vanilla, fudge and molasses. On the palate come dark berries, dates, tobacco, nougat, spearmint and a hint of coffee. The finish is very long, with caramel, oak and dark spice.
