This is a 32-year-old single grain whisky from Girvan, in the Lowlands, bottled by Thompson Bros. It was distilled in 1990 and matured in one refill barrel and one refill hogshead. Bottled at 48.7% ABV, it comes in a 70cl bottle from a release of 383, with a label using artwork by Sara Willia Illustration.
The nose has green apple, pear and quince jam, beeswax and citrus. Fresh fruit, lime zest and pear eau-de-vie appear on the palate. The finish is elegant, with fresh fruit and beeswax.
