This is a 33 year old single grain Scotch whisky from Girvan, bottled by Cadenhead's as part of its Original Collection. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 46% abv.
The whisky was distilled in 1991, matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled in September 2024. It is a limited edition.
The nose is rich in ginger, grain, maize, wood and beeswax polish. The palate is full-bodied, with apricot, almond, mirabelle plums, spice and carrot cake. The finish is medium in length, with hints of toffee, coconut and orange.
