A 25 year old single grain whisky from Girvan, the launch edition of a Girvan Patent Still range from William Grant & Sons. The range was created to give grain whisky the respect the company feels it deserves. The original Girvan Patent Still was built in 1963 by Charles Gordon, great-grandson of William Grant, and was nicknamed "No 1 Apps", short for apparatus. This whisky was aged for 25 years after distillation.
