Glann Ar Mor – Single Malt Whisky (46%)

Glann Ar Mor is a single malt from The Celtic Whisky Distillery in Brittany, bottled at 46% ABV. The name means 'by the sea' in Breton, which is where the distillery stands. It is distilled from an old barley variety called Maris Otter, matured in bourbon casks and bottled unfiltered. The whiskies in the bottle are between three and six years old, and the warmer French climate speeds the interaction with the cask. The sea shows in notes of iodine and salt, alongside honey and toffee, then apricot and sweet spices.
