Glasgow 1770 Peated is a Lowland single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered and natural in colour.
The Concerto barley is smoked to 50ppm with heather-rich peat from the Scottish Highlands. The spirit is distilled slowly in copper pot stills using water from Loch Katrine, then matured in American virgin oak casks and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
On the nose it is floral, with a sweet barbecue smoke. The palate brings rich toffee, dark fruits, tobacco leaf and dried apricots, leading to a long, rich finish with a hint of spice.
