Glasgow 1770 – Peated Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Glasgow 1770 Peated is a Lowland single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. The barley is smoked to 50ppm with heather-rich peat from the Scottish Highlands. The spirit is distilled in copper pot stills using water from Loch Katrine, matured in American virgin oak casks and then finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The nose is floral, with a sweet barbecue smoke. On the palate come rich toffee, dark fruits, tobacco leaf and dried apricots, leading to a long, rich finish with a hint of spice.
