Glasgow 1770 Peated (50cl, 46%)

A peated single malt from Glasgow 1770, made from Scottish concerto barley smoked to 50ppm with heather-rich Highland peat. It is distilled in copper pot stills using water from Loch Katrine. The whisky matured in American virgin oak casks and was finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. It is bottled at 46%, non-chill filtered and natural in colour, in a 50cl bottle. The nose is floral, with sweet barbecue smoke. On the palate, rich toffee and dark fruits meet tobacco leaf and dried apricot, leading to a rich, long finish with a hint of spice.
