Glen Breton 10 Year Old Ice is a single malt from Glenora in Nova Scotia. It began when a Glen Breton fan suggested using a barrel from a local winery that had held Ortega Ice Wine.
One of Glenora's cask strength whiskies was finished in that oak barrel. Each day the distillery tasted the whisky as it took on faint hints of sweetness and fruit from the grape, and after four months the finish was judged to be right.
