This is a 15 year old single malt from Glenora Distillery, bottled to mark the distillery's victory in the 2009 legal battle with the Scotch Whisky Association. The dispute began in 2000, soon after the release of its first bottling, Glen Breton Rare.
The case drew wide press coverage, and the packaging carries some of the clippings that appeared around the world. Glenora is described as North America's only single malt distillery.
