Glen Breton Ice Aged 10 Year Old is a Canadian single malt from Glenora Distillery in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. It comes in a 75cl bottle.
After its main maturation, the whisky spends four months in oak barrels that previously held Ortega Ice Wine from Jost Vineyards in Nova Scotia, which adds fruit and sweetness to the malt.
The nose is honey, apple and vanilla with gentle baking spices. The palate brings apple, grape, vanilla and nuts, with warming spice and a sweet wine influence. The finish is long and warming, with dark fruit, ginger, cedar and lingering wine notes.
