This is a Glen Elgin single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2025 at 12 years old. It was finished in a Malaga wine cask and bottled by James Eadie at 52.7% in a 70cl bottle.
It is one of 257 bottles in the Distilleries of Great Britain & Ireland collection, which commemorates a 1920s compendium of the same name.
The nose brings apricots, honeysuckle, kumquats, clementines and marzipan. On the palate come apricots, zesty kumquats, blood orange, lemon zest and fresh apple juice, and the finish is candied lemon peel and crème caramel.
