A 21 year old single malt from Glen Moray in Speyside, distilled in January 1990 and bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask 35.61 under the name 'Just so-ooh nice'.
It matured in a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel and comes at a cask strength of 60.4%, in a 70cl bottle, from an outturn of 213 bottles.
The nose is honeyed malt, vanilla and toasted oak, with lemon curd, orange zest and a faint kippery smoke. The palate is oily and silky, with baked apple, pear, coconut, almonds and a touch of tobacco leaf. The finish is long, warming and gently smoky, with honey, vanilla and citrus peel.
