This is Glen Moray Mountain Oak Malt, the first edition, a distillery manager's choice at 12 years old. It was distilled on 15 March 1991 and bottled on 3 December 2003 at 60.5% ABV, in a limited edition of 800 bottles.
It marries, for the first time, single malt matured in first-fill casks of toasted and charred mountain oak from North America. Ed Dodson made the selection in the month he marked 40 years in distilling. It is described as recalling a fully matured bourbon.
