This Glen Moray was distilled in 1998 and bottled by Cadenhead's as a single cask after 20 years of maturation. It came from a single bourbon hogshead and yielded 234 bottles, each 70cl at 52.2%. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose is fresh, with ripe apple, pear, vanilla and a little honey, followed by malt and soft spice. The palate is full and powerful, with yellow fruit, vanilla fudge, light citrus and a subtle woody note. The finish is long and clean, balanced between fruit and wood.
