Glen Moray 2011 is an 11-year-old single malt distilled on 14 November 2011 and bottled in May 2023 after a finish in a PX sherry hogshead. Only 315 bottles were filled. It is batch 13, release 120 in Alistair Walker's Infrequent Flyers range.
The nose offers marzipan, vanilla pods, brown sugar and dark molasses. The palate is rich, viscous, sweet and spicy, like a liquid dessert, with crème brûlée, figs and sultanas, intense dark chocolate and clootie dumpling, the Scottish dried-fruit and spice cake.
