This is a single cask Glen Moray from Speyside, distilled in 2011 and bottled in April 2026 at 56.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was selected by Alistair Walker for Batch 21 of the Infrequent Flyers series. The whisky spent almost seven years finishing in a ruby port half pipe, cask 2351, and 322 bottles were filled. It is bottled at natural cask strength, without added colour or chill filtration. The nose brings peaches, blood orange and a hint of lime over dark chocolate-coated nuts. The palate is rich and dessert-like, with buckwheat honey, muscovado sugar, figs and apricots, and a strong influence from the wood.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
