Glen Moray – Chardonnay Cask Finish (70cl, 40%)

Glen Moray Chardonnay Cask Finish is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It first matures in American oak casks, then moves into casks that previously held Chardonnay white wine. The finish adds tropical fruit and warm spice to the vanilla character of the distillery's whisky. Colour has been added and the whisky is chill-filtered. The nose brings spiced apple and pear with lime tart and cinnamon sugar. The palate is soft, with caramelised tropical fruit and sweet vanilla, plus a little freshly ground pepper. The finish is warm, with tropical fruit, nutty vanilla, gentle cinnamon and delicate floral notes.
