Glen Moray – Elgin Classic Chardonnay Cask Finish (40%)

This is Glen Moray Elgin Classic Chardonnay Cask Finish, a single malt bottled at 40%. It is aged first in American oak casks in the traditional Glen Moray way, then finished over several months in carefully selected Chardonnay white wine casks. Glen Moray has long been known for exploring how different casks influence its whisky, and this is an example of that experimental approach. The Chardonnay casks add tropical fruit and warm spice to the classic vanilla notes, giving a sweet and approachable dram.
