Glen Moray Elgin Classic Chardonnay Cask is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle. Glen Moray stands on the River Lossie in Elgin and began producing in September 1897.
The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon oak casks, then finished in casks that held Burgundy Chardonnay. The Chardonnay adds body, sweetness and spice to the vanilla and oak of the Elgin Classic.
The nose is fresh, with apple, pear and lime, softened by brown sugar and cinnamon. The palate is smooth and elegant, and the finish brings vanilla and nut with a touch of cinnamon and a subtle floral note.
