Glen Moray Elgin Classic Peated is a lightly smoky single malt from the Speyside distillery in Elgin, in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in ex-bourbon barrels, which add sweetness and a little spice.
Glen Moray stands on the River Lossie and began production in September 1897.
The nose shows layers of peat smoke with vanilla, some peach and a hint of leather. The palate opens with peat smoke, lightly spiced with vanilla, and the finish is long, sweet and peppery.
