Glen Moray – Elgin Classic (70cl)

Glen Moray Elgin Classic is a single malt from the Speyside distillery in Elgin, in a 70cl bottle. It is the flagship malt of the house. The whisky matured for an average of seven years in ex-bourbon casks, most of them first-fill. It is described as light, smooth and easy to drink. The nose is aromatic and slightly dry, with malted barley, sweet caramel and herbal touches. The palate is chocolatey, with blueberry fruit and a little lemon towards the end. The medium finish is mostly caramel sweet, with fresh herbal notes and ginger marmalade.
