Glen Moray – Elgin Classic Sherry Cask (70cl)

Glen Moray Elgin Classic Sherry Cask is a Speyside single malt finished in Oloroso sherry casks. The whisky is first matured in ex-bourbon oak, and the sherry finish follows for a few months. The vanilla and oak of the Elgin Classic remain clear, joined by dried-fruit flavours and earthy notes from the sherry wood. The nose brings dried fruit, cinnamon and caramel. On the palate it is sweet, with vanilla, toasted oak, dark chocolate and spice. The finish is long and spiced.
