Glen Moray – Heritage 15 Years Old (70cl)

Glen Moray Heritage 15 Years Old is a single malt from the Speyside distillery, released as part of the Elgin Heritage range in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in a selection of American oak and sherry casks, and the two styles of cask are combined in the finished malt. The result shows dried fruit and dark chocolate. On the nose it is sweet with caramel and chocolate, along with toasted oak. Caramel leads the palate, with a little sea salt, then cinnamon, ginger and dark chocolate with raisins. The finish is long and spicy, with more dark chocolate.
