This is an 11-year-old Speyside single malt from Glen Spey, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2021 at 58.2% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It comes from a single sherry octave cask that gave 75 bottles, and is released as The National Choice Royal Flush. Glen Spey stands in Rothes and was established in 1878. It began as an oatmeal mill before turning to whisky. Much of its output goes into blends, particularly J&B, while its single malts are known for a light, delicate character with subtle fruity and nutty notes and a gentle hint of smoke.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
