An 11 year old GlenAllachie finished for almost two years in certified organic Super Tuscan barriques of French oak from the Grattamacco estate in Bolgheri, Tuscany. It is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle, unfiltered and without added colour.
It belongs to the GlenAllachie Maiden Wine Cask Finish Series, a set of three bottlings finished in Italian, French and Spanish wine casks.
The colour is a rich ruby red. The nose offers waves of honey, peaches and apricots, with toffee, almonds and orange peel. On the palate come toffee, heather honey, red berries and peaches, blended with apricots, orange peel and nutmeg.
