This is the 2024 design of Glenallachie 18 Year Old, a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
Glenallachie was founded in 1967 and spent a long period under foreign corporate ownership. In 2017 it returned to Scottish private ownership, when Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson bought the distillery together with the filled casks in its warehouse.
The distillery has four stills and two separate spirit safes, so it can make two different new-make spirits side by side, for example smoky and unsmoked.
