This is a 2014 Glenallachie single malt from Speyside, bottled by Murray McDavid at 55.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Glenallachie was founded in 1967 and spent a long period in foreign corporate ownership. For most of that time its spirit went almost entirely into blends, and single malt was rarely seen except through independent bottlers such as this one.
In 2017 the distillery returned to Scottish private ownership under Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson.
