GlenAllachie – 12 Year Old 2006 Single Cask Batch #1

This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from GlenAllachie, a single cask bottling selected by master blender Billy Walker. It was distilled in 2006 and matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel of American oak. It was bottled at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, and 203 individually numbered bottles were released. It is described as showing orchard-fruit sweetness and honeyed malt, with creamy vanilla, coconut and lively oak spice from the American oak.
