This 12 year old single malt from the GlenAllachie distillery in Speyside belongs to the Wood Finish Series. It has been finished in Moscatel wood and is bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
The distillery was founded in 1967 and has been in Scottish private ownership again since 2017, when Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson bought it together with the filled casks in its warehouse. Four stills and two separate spirit safes allow it to produce smoky and non-smoky new make in parallel.
