This is a 28 year old GlenAllachie from Speyside, distilled in 1990 and released as Single Cask Batch #1. It comes from a single bourbon barrel, number 620, and was bottled at natural cask strength. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour.
The outturn is 122 individually numbered bottles. The whisky spent its time in first-fill American oak, which sits alongside GlenAllachie's honey-malt character.
Tasting notes describe vanilla cream, tropical fruit and soft oak spice.
