This is a 7 year old Glenallachie from Speyside, finished in Hungarian oak and bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is an official distillery bottling.
Glenallachie was founded in 1967 and returned to Scottish private ownership in 2017 under Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson. The distillery has four stills and two separate spirit safes, which allows it to make two different distillates in parallel.
