Glenallachie 8 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV.
The distillery was founded in 1967 and for a long time belonged to foreign corporate owners. Since 2017 it has been Scottish and privately owned again, under Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson, who bought it with the filled casks in the warehouse.
Four stills and two separate spirit safes mean the distillery can make two distinct new-make spirits in parallel, for example smoky and unsmoked.
