A blended malt Scotch whisky from the 1980s, released as Glencove 100% Pure Malt and made entirely from malt whisky.
Its colour is bright amber-gold. The nose is gentle and sweet, with honeyed barley, vanilla cream, soft toffee, pear, apple and apricot, and a trace of heather smoke. The palate is smooth and lightly textured, with vanilla fudge, caramelised citrus, pear drops, nutmeg and clove, rounded by toasted barley and honey. The finish is medium in length, with honey, vanilla and soft oak, and a hint of cocoa and smoke.
