Glendalough Double Barrel is an Irish whiskey from Glendalough Distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 42% ABV.
The nose is full of dark fruit, cherries, raisins, figs and Christmas pudding, with floral notes of lemongrass and citrus and a touch of nutmeg. The palate is sweet and smooth, with caramel, honey and pepper, nuts, maraschino cherries and brown sugar.
The finish carries ginger, with an almond and earthy touch.
