Glendalough Double Barrel is an Irish single grain whiskey, bottled at 42% in a 70cl bottle. It is first matured in American bourbon casks, then spends six months in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks.
The strength is reached by adding water from the Wicklow mountains.
The flavour is rich in vanilla, caramel, Christmas spices and dried fruit.
