This is a single cask Irish single malt from Glendalough, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle without chill filtration. It was matured in first-fill bourbon casks, then transferred to Canteiro-aged Madeira wine casks from Portugal.
The nose has ripe figs, sultanas and honeyed nuts over warm oak spice. The palate brings dark fruits, candied orange peel and toffee with a gentle nuttiness. The finish is long, warming and subtly sweet, with Madeira wine and toasted oak.
