Glenfarclas – 11 Year Old 2014 Sherry Hogshead (70cl, 59.2%)

A single cask Glenfarclas, distilled in 2014 and matured for 11 years in a sherry hogshead. It is bottled at 59.2% in a 70cl bottle and was chosen for the Itinéraires Collection, a series of distinctive casks from well-known Scottish distilleries. Glenfarclas is a family-owned Speyside distillery, independent since 1865, and this whisky was matured entirely on site in Ballindalloch. The active hogshead brings dried fruits, malt sweetness, chocolate, warm spice and rich oak.
