Glenfarclas 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in sherry wood.
The sherry influence is strong throughout, and the whisky is often likened to a rich Christmas cake. A little water brings out its sweetness.
The nose is intense and powerful, with cream sherry and a touch of peppermint. On the palate come raisins, orange peel, walnuts and dates, and the finish is very long.
