Glenfarclas 15 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky matured in sherry wood and bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is intense and sherried, with cream sherry, a touch of peppermint and an almost rancio quality. On the palate come raisins, orange peel, walnuts and dates, and the finish is very long and complex, with the walnuts returning. A little water brings out sweetness.
