Glenfarclas 30 Year Old

Glenfarclas 30 Year Old is a single malt from the Glenfarclas Distillery at Ballindalloch in Scotland. The distillery has been in the hands of the same family since the end of the 19th century, and it is today's family members who complete and bottle whisky laid down by their forebears. This one spent thirty years maturing in sherry casks. The aroma is fruity, with sherry and malt, over a sherried base of nutty marzipan and fruit. The finish is long and refined, leaving a faint hint of slightly burnt chocolate at the back of the palate.
