Glenfarclas 30 Year Old is a Highland single malt aged for three decades and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is full-bodied and clearly sherried, and comes in a box designed as a nod to the red door of the Glenfarclas warehouse.
The official notes give a full, rich dark gold colour and a complex nose of fruit and sherried malt. The palate brings sherry, cognac, brandy, fruit, nuts and marzipan, like Christmas cake in a glass. The finish is very long, with burnt chocolate at the back of the mouth.
