Glenfarclas 30 Year Old is a Scotch single malt from the Glenfarclas distillery, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Three decades of maturation give it a full-bodied, sherried character.
In colour it is a full, rich dark gold. The nose is full and complex, with fruit and sherried malt. On the palate come sherry, cognac, brandy, fruit, nuts and marzipan, with a hint of icing, much like a Christmas cake. The finish is very long, with burnt chocolate at the back of the mouth.
