Glenfarclas – Single Cask 2008 (59.9%)

This is a single cask Glenfarclas distilled in 2008 and bottled straight from the cask at 59.9%. It is a limited edition, and each bottle is numbered. The whisky matured in oak, and the character is described as combining Glenfarclas's sherry notes with a strong influence from the cask. The nose is typically described as warm dried fruit, dark chocolate and a subtle smokiness. On the palate there are spices, walnuts and caramel, leading to a long, full finish.
