This is a single cask Glenfarclas from the Family Casks range, a series of vintage malts drawn from the Grant family's holdings. It carries the 1995 vintage and is bottled at a cask strength of 50.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in sherry butt no. 6651, which gave an outturn of 568 bottles. The whisky is non-chill filtered. Glenfarclas is known for a heavy, pungent and fruity new-make spirit, distilled in direct-fired stills and matured in traditional dunnage warehouses, where a constant temperature suits long, slow maturation.
