Glenglassaugh 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt from a distillery on the edge of Sandend Bay, founded in 1875 and brought back to life in 2008 after more than twenty years of silence. It is bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is matured in bourbon, sherry and red wine casks in coastal warehouses open to the North Sea air. It is luminous gold in colour.
On the nose it shows ripe apricot and fig with toasted vanilla.
