This is a 37-year-old Glenglassaugh single malt from the Highlands, bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in its Connoisseurs Choice series. The whisky was distilled in 1986 and bottled in 2024 at a cask strength of 52.5%, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered, has no added colour and is not smoky.
The nose is aromatic, with ripe banana, delicate white chocolate, ripe pineapple, mango and lime zest. Oak spice comes through on the palate, alongside a fine creaminess. The finish is long, spicy and gently sweet.
