Glenglassaugh Evolution is a Speyside single malt released after the reopening of the Glenglassaugh distillery. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in first fill ex-Tennessee barrels and carries no age statement. The nose is fresh, with malt, green apple, citrus, vanilla and oak. The palate has a creamy texture and flavours of malted barley, pineapple, apple, biscuits, ginger and pepper. The finish is fairly long, with oak, vanilla, citrus fruit and pepper.
