Glenglassaugh Peated Virgin Oak Wood Finish is a single malt made from coastal peated spirit and finished in American virgin oak casks. The finishing adds notes of candy and fresh spice, a character likened to a sweet shop by the beach. Its colour is antique gold.
Creamy vanilla and toasted oak spice meet confectionery and freshly peated barley on the nose. The palate has crisp oak, candied ginger, boiled sweets and brittle toffee, all wrapped in sweet peat smoke.
